1. How to request a cancellation To request cancellation, email info@envirosolution.co.uk as soon as possible and include your order reference. You may use any clear statement that tells us you wish to cancel.
2. Consumer cancellation rights If you are acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you may have a statutory right to cancel a distance service contract within 14 days beginning the day after the contract is made.
Nothing in this policy reduces any statutory consumer right.
3. Asking us to start during the cancellation period Environmental reports are time-sensitive professional services and customers commonly want work to start straight away. At checkout, consumers are asked to expressly request that we begin during the 14-day cancellation period.
If you make that request and then cancel before the service is fully completed, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the point you told us to cancel. This may include consultant time and third-party data or searches that have already been obtained for your instruction where those costs form part of the service supplied.
If the service is fully performed during the cancellation period after your express request and acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost on full performance, the statutory right to cancel that completed service may end.
4. Before work starts Where we accept a cancellation before work has started and before any non-recoverable project-specific cost has been incurred, we will normally refund the amount paid in full.
5. Scope review and orders we cannot accept If we determine that the site or instruction falls outside the standard online scope, we may propose a revised scope and price. If you do not accept that proposal and we have not started the ordered service, we will cancel the order and refund the payment received for that service.
6. Refund method Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control.
7. Business customers The statutory 14-day consumer cancellation right does not generally apply where you are ordering wholly or mainly for business purposes. Business cancellations will be considered under the contract, the work completed, committed third-party costs and any agreed project-specific terms.
8. Problems with the service Cancellation rights are separate from your rights where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or does not conform to the contract. Contact us promptly if you believe there is a problem so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide a remedy.
9. Model cancellation form You do not have to use this wording, but you may copy and send the following information if you wish to cancel a consumer contract:
